Hacker University – New Hacker’s Social Networking Community

Hacker University – New Hacker’s Social Networking Community
Social Networking is a new wave of tech communication that is engulfing nearly everyone today. As far as I believe, there are niche segments in all the networking sites, for instance, Facebook has groups, Orkut has communities, LinkedIn too has groups, Twitter has lists, Econsultancy has directories etc. And now a network has emerged that calls itself ‘Hacker University’, a site solely dedicated to hackers.
The site boasts of being faster than the respective social networking sites. Although the features that it present are quite similar to Facebooks’ like searching friends, creating polls, forums, videos, quizzes, creating events and all.
Admin of hackeruniversity.net asserts that the platform would provide a new learning experience for hackers, which they might be missing in forums and related sites. He put forward some steps which he feel might help any beginner in hacking.
  1. Verifying the credibility of website, which emphasizes on training hacking and what best be the method than checking out reviews itself. Some hacking websites are fraud they make money by storing the logs of users or the visitors.
  2. Majority of the readers are in the habit of scanning the bullet points but it should be refrained.  Going through the entire post is advisable as it helps in better understanding of the entire product.
  3. Post is not enough, if there are comments then it must not be ignored. At times, the comments have the most important info embedded in them than the post. Comments are based on the real time experience of the users or the issues that they have encountered otherwise.
  4. Ignoring small tutorials is not a good way of moving to the next level. If ignoring tiny bit in the beginning might become a snowball effect in the later steps. Hence, it becomes imperative to fully understand even the tiny bit of task.
  5. Avoid learning randomly. Step -by -step learning is a good way and of course suggested way of moving further. For example, if one wants to learn web attacks, then starting with some injections then shells, xss, sql injection and so on is advisable.
  6. Going through couple of videos on youtube helps in better understanding of the concept. Since learning through watching acquires quickly than reading, so make use of it fully. Learning ‘XSS’ via videos is much easier than reading the manuscript.
  7. Hacking is about logics and reasoning so at times sharing with friends helps in better understanding. I mean friends too might come up with a solution, which was actually hidden by you. A solution which was far too easy for you to think ;)
  8. Try to question everything, do not take logics for granted. Try to reason from all points of view, you will gain an insight of a completely new world – a hacking world!
